Qatar continues to distribute funds. After the billions it promised Egypt this week, yesterday it was announced that Qatar would transfer $60 million to pay the salaries of Lebanese army soldiers.
The announcement was made at the end of Lebanese President Joseph Aoun's visit to Doha. It was reported that the millions from Qatar will help the Lebanese army fulfill its missions.
Qatar will also send 162 military vehicles to Lebanon. It can be estimated that this Qatari funding is being carried out with the approval of the Trump administration.
It will be recalled that in August 2023, Qatar transferred $30 million to the Lebanese Army to finance fuel expenses, and in September 2024, it transferred $15 million for a similar purpose.
