WATCH: Air Force strikes Hezbollah terrorist after failed launch
A short time ago, as part of an Air Force assistance operation for the combat forces in southern Lebanon, a failed launch attempt of a small ground-to-air missile was carried out toward an aircraft.
In a swift closing of the circle, the Air Force struck a suspect who fled immediately afterward from the launch area on a motorcycle.
In addition, the Air Force intercepted suspicious aerial targets identified in the area where IDF forces operate in southern Lebanon. In accordance with policy, no alerts were activated.
The Air Force continues to operate in the skies of Lebanon and to assist the ground forces in attack and defense.
