The first round of White House Chanukah party invitations were sent out Friday, and the invite reads: “The President and Mrs. Trump request the pleasure of your company at a Hanukkah Reception to be held at The White House on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at seven o’clock.”

The invitations arrive amid reports of a significantly scaled-back guest list for this year’s celebration.

Sources familiar with the planning indicate that the 2025 Chanukah party will be smaller than in previous years. This reduction is due to the massive construction project currently underway on the White House grounds, specifically the demolition and rebuilding of the East Wing.
