A Jewish woman in her seventies wearing a ‘star-of-david’ was shopping in a supermarket with a large Kosher section was stabbed by a leftist who had written virulent antisemitic messages accusing Israel and Jews of genocide.

“I am under no obligation whatsoever, legal, moral, or otherwise, to like jews and I do not,” Joseph Rooke tweeted. “If that means I meet the jewish definition of an anti-semite, so be it. In actual fact, I own an obligation to humanity to speak out against Israel’s ongoing attempt of a genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza.”

Much of Rooke’s hatred came from the media’s Hamas propaganda which falsely accused Israel of genocide and of starving and killing the Arab Muslim population in Gaza. All of this was mixed together with claims that “Judaism is the world’s oldest cult”, militant atheism and claims that Jews had invented the idea of god and declaring that the Holocaust disproved Judaism.
