Jerusalem, 10 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) -- Two key figures in Hamas’ financial network were killed in an airstrike, Israeli authorities confirmed on this morning.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) said the two killed in Sunday’s strike in northern Gaza were Khathar Jamatzi, the head of Hamas’ money transfer infrastructure, together with his deputy, Muhammad Harazin.
According to the statement, Jamatzi and Harazin were responsible for transferring tens of millions of dollars to the military wing throughout the war. The funds were moved through a network of dozens of money changers in Gaza and used to pay salaries to operatives, enabling continued terrorist activity.
The IDF and Shin Bet said the operation is part of ongoing efforts to target Hamas’s economic infrastructure. Other financial operatives killed in recent weeks include Ihab Khrizim and Walid Muhammad Dib.
