A comprehensive study conducted by a British researcher and a researcher from Finland regarding the smartest countries revealed a link between the level of intelligence of the various peoples and the level of income, growth and resources of their country.
The study, which included 80 countries, found that Hong Kong was the leader in the "smart index" with 108 points, followed by Singapore and South Korea.
In the Arab world the results are surprising. In 1st place is Iraq with 87 points. It is followed by Kuwait (86 points) and Yemen (85 points). Yemen and Kuwait do not enjoy a particularly strong economy. In 4th place are four countries each with 84 points: Morocco, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the Emirates.
