The CIA and the Mossad: "Unique Capabilities" at the Biden-Bennett Table

Intelligence services cooperate with each other, especially between allied and friendly countries, but even in this context, the relationship between the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Israeli Intelligence Service (Mossad) stands out.

This relationship may undergo some change, and this is what has happened between American intelligence and Israeli intelligence recently, as this relationship was undermined during the administration of US President Joe Biden, the American newspaper The New York Times claims.

According to the New York Times, the reasons for the change stem from the Iranian issue, and the paper, citing knowledgeable sources, talks about the failure of a US spy network mission in Iran, due to "counter-intelligence operations" carried out by Tehran, which interfered with "rehabilitation efforts" ".

Officials say Israel has provided the United States with "reliable intelligence" on Iran's nuclear activities, missile programs, and support for extremist militias across the region.

That changed after the election of President Biden, who promised to return to a nuclear deal with Iran, which Israel vehemently opposes. Last spring, former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reduced intelligence sharing with the United States because he did not trust the Biden administration, the New York Times reported.
