Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sharply criticized what he called an “absurd” situation during his court testimony, highlighting the intense demands of his role during a critical period for Israel.
Netanyahu revealed that in the past 24 hours alone, he held conversations with four world leaders, including US President Donald Trump—hinting at sensitive discussions—as well as with the CEO of the Peace Council regarding Gaza, which he described as undergoing “interesting developments.” In addition, he noted three high-level meetings with Israel’s top security leadership.
He then questioned the priorities of the legal proceedings, stating: “And now we are taking three hours to discuss how I responded to a headline?”
