A secret Syrian intelligence document written on the eve of the fall of the regime reveals the state of the army that led to the collapse
Reuters news agency reported that its correspondents in Damascus found a document at the air force intelligence headquarters in the Syrian capital, showing the poor organizational state of the soldiers before the fall of the regime.
The document states that “on November 28, the general command of the army and the armaments corps issued orders for all forces to be ready for combat.”
