President Trump says biased coverage of the war against Iran is not just misleading but dangerous, accusing parts of the media of undermining national security while the US and its allies confront the Iranian regime.
At a White House press conference yesterday, President Trump sharply criticized what he described as deeply biased media coverage of the war with Iran.
He said the US had to take what he called “a little trip” in order to deal with “nuclear weapons in the hands of crazy people,” framing the military campaign as a necessary move to prevent a far greater threat. Trump declared that Iran had been devastated on multiple fronts, saying its navy had been destroyed, its air force had been destroyed, and much of its senior leadership had been eliminated.
Trump also pointed to the killing of Iran’s acting leader Ali Larijani, as well as the Basij commander and his deputy, whom he linked to the massacre of protesters.
