Conservative commentator Mark Levin warned that Hezbollah’s latest missile attacks on Israel demonstrate that the Iranian-backed terrorist organization has no intention of respecting diplomatic agreements.
Levin noted that the attacks came only hours before a memorandum of understanding was reportedly expected to be signed. He argued that Hezbollah, acting under the direction of Iran’s regime, was using violence to test whether Israel could be pressured into accepting continued attacks without responding decisively.
According to Levin, Iran and Hezbollah may believe that international pressure is increasingly directed at Israel rather than at the terrorists launching the missiles.
Israel, he said, risks being portrayed as the aggressor whenever it defends itself, while Hezbollah is encouraged to continue violating agreements and targeting Israeli territory.
