- The Muslim Brotherhood does not differentiate between "moderate and extremist Israelis"
- It wants to get rid of Israel "in its entirety" and of all the people living there
- Removing Israel from the map is the "ABC of our faith. Islam 101."
Turkey-based Egyptian TV host Sharif Abady said that unlike Egyptian TV host Ibrahim Eissa (see MEMRI TV clips nos. 8621, 8568, 7852, 7295, 7172, 6767, 6530, 6416, and 5150), the Muslim Brotherhood does not differentiate between moderate and extremist Israelis, and it wants to get rid of Israel "in its entirety" and of all the people living there. He made these remarks on a show that aired on Watan TV (Turkey-based Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood) on August 13, 2021. Abady added that removing the "plundering and thieving" Israel from the map is "Islam 101."
Sharif Abady: "[Ibrahim Eissa] talks about extremists, as if in Israel, there are honorable doves of peace, and there are extremists with whom we have nothing to do. Really? No, man. We want to get rid of Israel in its entirety, the whole entity — the extremists along with the moderates. If you feel like it, you can live with them.
"May Allah gather you with these people on Judgement Day. We want to completely remove all those people from the map. We want to remove Israel from the map. This is a plundering and thieving entity. It took the Muslims' holy land, which is the heritage of Prophet Muhammad. This is the ABC of our faith. This is Islam 101."
