According to him, they demanded that Israel immediately cease all its hostilities from the air, sea and land, including the assassinations. 

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun said in a speech on Tuesday that it is his duty, that of the government, the Supreme Defense Council, the parliament and all political forces to seize the historic opportunity and push without hesitation for only the army and security apparatus to possess weapons in all Lebanese territory today before tomorrow, so that we can restore the world's trust in us.

The Lebanese President also said that the American side presented us with a draft of ideas to which we made substantial changes.
