A heavy wave of strikes by the Israeli Air Force is underway across southern Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah positions after advance evacuation warnings were issued to civilians.
One of the main focal points is the town of Ain Qana, where powerful explosions, massive fireballs, and thick plumes of smoke were documented rising above residential areas.
According to initial assessments, the strikes are aimed at weapons depots, command-and-control sites, and other Hezbollah terrorist assets embedded within civilian areas. Israeli officials have stressed that Hezbollah’s deliberate use of civilian cover endangers local residents, and that operations will continue as part of efforts to push the terror group away from the border and restore security to northern Israeli communities.
