During a security tour of the Hebron sector, IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir reviewed ongoing counterterror operations, visited the Cave of the Patriarchs, and made clear that the IDF will crush any emerging terror threats.
Chief of Staff of the Central Command Zamir: "The operation currently underway in the Judea Regional Directorate is part of a series of proactive operations to thwart terrorism in Judea and Samaria and strengthen the defense of the settlement.
We will continue to strengthen the settlement on the borders and in Judea and Samaria."
