One of the largest drug traffickers in southern Syria has been killed

According to the Syrian media agency Zeitun, unknown individuals attacked Ahmad Mamun Abu Jish and another man who accompanied him, in the city of Da'el in the countryside in the center of Daraa district.

Local sources said the assassination killed Abu Jish on the spot and wounded his friend, noting that Mamun was one of the largest drug traffickers in the area.

In another attack, an officer in Assad's forces was killed as a result of an explosive device in a military vehicle on the Sheikh Saad Naveh road west of Daraa.

Abu Mahmoud al-Hurani, a spokesman for the rebel militia "Majmoat Aharar Horan" confirmed in an exclusive statement to the "Zeitun" media agency that an officer with the rank of deputy from Assad's forces had been killed and others injured in the blast.
