IDF spokesperson released a statement about the security event in Nablus last night.
An officer and three IDF soldiers were injured during an operation to secure the entry of civilians to the Yosef Tomb compound in the city of Nablus, after an infantry force passed near the device which was set off and exploded.
The soldiers were taken conscious to receive medical treatment at a hospital and their families were informed. The officer was evacuated in a minor condition, two soldiers are apparently in light condition and another fighter in medium condition.
The explosive detonation took place at the point where the security forces were operating to secure the access and not on the route of the citizens' entry into the compound.
The entrance of worshipers to Joseph's tomb continued as normal.
