Assessment: Israel is collecting intelligence on the S-350 systems of the Algerian army

Last fall, Algeria decided to increase its purchases of Russian military equipment, despite threats from the West. Western experts estimated the total scope of the contracts at $7 billion.

Since the signing of the Abraham Accords, Israel has begun supplying Morocco with a diverse fleet of UAVs, including those capable of gathering electronic intelligence from open space.

According to the media, Morocco has deployed these aircraft on its long border with Algeria, which for its part has placed advanced Russian anti-aircraft missile batteries on its soil to prevent any harm.

The S-350 Vityaz anti-aircraft missile system is a medium-range system developed from the S-300PS and S-300PT-1A. This system can operate with the same long-range S-400 missiles, namely 9M96 missiles, and operate with an array radar Active of AESA.
