San Diego imam Uthman Ibn Farooq said at a Florida Islamic conference that Islam is stronger than ever before and will continue to grow worldwide, asserting that rising Islamophobia will persist until people “realize Islam cannot be beaten” and ultimately join Muslims.
Speaking on November 28, 2025, during a session at the Authentic Ilm Mission (AIM) conference held at the Deen Center in Tampa, Ibn Farooq claimed that Islam’s expansion is inevitable and unstoppable.
He argued that hostility toward Islam will only intensify as the religion grows, but maintained this opposition would eventually collapse once Islam’s dominance is accepted. During his remarks, he openly acknowledged that his statements would likely be clipped and aired by MEMRI TV, adding that he was “looking forward to it.”
In separate remarks delivered earlier during a visit to the United Kingdom, Ibn Farooq told a mosque audience in Birmingham that the “nightmare of a Muslim Europe will come true.” He went on to claim that the United States and Russia would also become Muslim countries, and that Islam would “enter every house.” Following these statements and similar rhetoric, UK Home Secretary Yvette Cooper revoked Ibn Farooq’s entry rights to the UK on May 22, 2025, citing concerns over public safety and social cohesion.
