During a targeted ground operation in southern Lebanon, IDF forces captured armed terrorists from Hezbollah’s elite Radwan unit who were planning to launch an anti-tank missile attack against Israeli troops.
The terrorists were transferred for interrogation by Unit 504.
The interrogation revealed a sharp decline in morale among Hezbollah operatives in southern Lebanon, even as the terrorist organization continues attempting attacks. The detainees stated clearly that Hezbollah is fighting under the direction of the Iranian terror regime, saying: “Hezbollah went out to fight to avenge Sayyed Ali Khamenei,” further underscoring the direct link between Hezbollah and Iran.
According to testimony from one of the terrorists: “Morale is on the floor (low). No one has the strength to go out and fight anymore. I just came out of a year and a half of war. Anyone coming from home is coming against their will. You can’t tell Hezbollah you don’t want to come. It’s all bombardments—you don’t know when a bomb will fall on you.”
