The question is not if Hamas is lying about the casualty numbers or not, but WHY does Joe Biden, the Media and the idiots in the streets claim they are true?
Many sources, not last a well-written extensive article by a neutral source in Tablet magazine last week, tell us that the casualty numbers reported by Hamas have "raised concerns about their accuracy and credibility".
Various sources highlight the challenges in verifying these figures due to unreliable reporting methods and potential manipulation by Hamas for propaganda purposes.
The Gaza Ministry of Health, controlled by Hamas, has been the primary source of casualty numbers, claiming a high number of deaths, with a significant percentage attributed to women and children.
However, doubts have been raised about the validity of these numbers, especially considering inconsistencies in reporting and the lack of transparency in the data collection process.
The reliance on Hamas data by some international organizations and media outlets has further fueled skepticism regarding the accuracy of these figures.
The complexity of the situation in Gaza, compounded by the fog of war and the absence of independent observers, makes it challenging to ascertain the true extent of civilian casualties and distinguish between combatants and non-combatants.
In light of these challenges, the actual casualty numbers remain uncertain, emphasizing the need for caution when interpreting data provided by Hamas-controlled sources.
The author of the article in Tablet, statistician Abraham Wyner gives an easy way to "smell a rat" in the Hamas numbers:
"Looking at the total number of deaths reported each day", Wyner writes: “The graph of total deaths by date is increasing with almost metronomical linearity,” with the increase showing “strikingly little variation” from day to day.
“The daily reported casualty count over this period averages 270 plus or minus about 15 per cent,” Wyner writes. “There should be days with twice the average or more and others with half or less. Perhaps what is happening is the Gaza ministry is releasing fake daily numbers that vary too little because they do not have a clear understanding of the behaviour of naturally occurring numbers.”
