Arabs from the village of Al-Mu'ayr set a fire on the slopes of the Malachi HaShalom settlement in Binyamin.  Dozens of residents from the area fought the flames for a long hour until the fire was brought under control. Some of the residents who came to help put out the fire reported being pelted with stones by Arabs.  The fires do not "break out", there are terrorist cells that operate every year, often in fixed patterns of action, consuming thousands of acres of land that were sown with great effort and endangering lives.

8:30 AM - Russia launches air attack on Kyiv, city's mayor says
Ukraine's air defense units were trying to repel a Russian air attack on Kyiv, the city's mayor said, after Ukraine's air force warned of a drone attack on the capital.
The attack came hours after Russia's President Vladimir Putin proposed direct talks with Ukraine on May 15 in Istanbul that he said should be aimed at bringing a durable peace. (Reuters)

8:45 AM - Report: Malaysian lawyer testifies Karim Khan forced her into sexual relations in New York
A Malaysian lawyer in her 30s provided detailed testimony about an alleged sexual assault by Karim Khan, the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC). According to the Wall Street Journal, the woman, who was Khan's assistant, testified that he called her to his hotel suite in New York, where he began touching her sexually - a pattern that she says continued for months. It was also reported that she initially refused to disclose this because she did not want to disrupt the issuance of arrest warrants against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
