35 dead and more than 100 wounded were reported in the city of Farchinar in northern Pakistan in clashes and exchanges of fire between Shiite and Sunni clans due to differences of opinion over territories.

The Sunni tribes accuse the Shiite tribes of using the Iranian missiles and mortar bombs that were delivered to them, and they claim that whenever Iranian weapons reach them, they use them against the Sunni tribes.

The Shiite tribes claim that the Pakistani and Afghan Taliban began supporting the Sunni tribes, and supplying them with weapons and military equipment.
