Did an American commando force try to rescue Israeli hostage Elizabeth Tsurkov, who is being held in Iraq?

First, the facts that are agreed upon. Two Black Hawk helicopters carrying a commando force landed yesterday without prior notice at Najaf airport in Iraq.

The soldiers unloaded from the helicopters and broke into the VIP hall and began searching and photographing the area.

According to some sources, the arrival of the American force was part of an attempt to locate and rescue the kidnapped Israeli Elizabeth Tsurkov, according to preliminary information received.
