Fatah-affiliated channels published footage claiming that Hamas terrorists from the Sahem Unit and the military wing brutally beat to death, and then executed under gunfire threats, the terrorist Mahmoud Majaydeh in Muazzi, Khan Yunis.
According to their account, Majaydeh was a member of Hamas’s elite Nukhba force. He was beaten and executed merely for daring to criticize Hamas operatives after they attacked his clan early Friday morning, killing about 30 Gazans—some of them relatives. Majaydeh reportedly tried to calm the conflict peacefully rather than through more bloodshed, which led Hamas to brand him a “traitor” and execute him.
Fatah-linked media are presenting the event as evidence of Hamas’s growing chaos and repression over the past month — using violence to settle scores, silence critics, and punish anyone accused of collaboration with Israel. They note that even members of pro-Hamas clans, including those serving in its civil and military institutions such as Nukhba, have not been spared.
The reports claim Hamas sees an increasing internal threat to its rule as local militias expand cooperation with Israel, prompting the group to lash out violently, executing opponents one by one to maintain control.
