The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs today issued a strong condemnation of the attack carried out by the Houthis yesterday against a Turkish-owned ship named Anadolu S sailing under the flag of Panama. 

The Houthis announced yesterday that they had hit a ship but did not specify that it was a Turkish ship.

Since the Houthis began attacking ships in the Red Sea over a year ago, Turkey has kept a low profile on the issue as the Houthis claim that the attacks on ships are part of supporting the Gazans.
