Forces of the Mountain Brigade (810) under the command of Division 210 completed a raid yesterday (Wednesday) on several commando posts of the old Syrian regime on the slopes of Mount Hermon in Syria.
As part of the operation, the forces arrested and interrogated in the field a number of suspects who were involved in smuggling and trafficking weapons from Syria to Lebanon. The weapons they were trafficking were confiscated.
During the raid and searches of the outposts, more than 300 weapons were found, all of which were confiscated.
The brigade's forces continue to operate in the area to protect the security of the citizens of the State of Israel and the residents of the Golan Heights in particular.
