WATCH: Will Jewish cemeteries accept tattoos?
It's probably one of the greatest misconceptions of Judaism.
Yes, having a tattoo is against Jewish law. We're meant to value the body the way God gave it to us and not try to either cut it, injure it, damage it, or cover it in tattoos.
But if a person did that, that doesn't bar them from a place in the world to come.
And it doesn't bar them from being buried in a Jewish cemetery.
