The espionage case that is agitating the news websites in India reveals that details about an Israeli system may have been leaked to Pakistan. That's according to a mid-day publication. According to another publication by livemint, information may also have been revealed regarding the MRSAM system, known as Barak-8 in Israel (joint development of Israel Aerospace Industries and Rafael).

According to the publication, an indictment was recently filed against Pradeep Kurulkar (Pradeep Kurulkar), 59 years old, a renowned scientist from the DRDO (India's Defense Research and Development Organization, equivalent to Israel's Defense Research and Development Organization). According to the indictment, Kurolkar worked as a director of research and development at the organization.

The indictment alleges that Kurolkar shared sensitive and classified information with a Pakistani spy who identified herself to him under the pseudonym Zara Das Gupta. Allegedly, a software engineer living in the UK.

According to the publication, the sharing of information took place as part of online conversations between the two. The indictment alleges that Kurolkar downloaded certain software at the behest of the spy, which included malicious code. The software allowed the Pakistani intelligence to take full control of Kurolkar's personal phone. 

"The indictment, which includes 1,800 pages, was submitted to the Pune court last week. He emphasizes the seriousness of the situation by revealing that the leaked information includes details relating to various defense technologies. Some of the specific technologies mentioned are the Brahmos and Agni 6 missile launchers, surface-to-air missiles, anti-satellite missiles, the Rostom UAV under development by the DRDO, the Mentor missile, Rafael systems, the Astra missile (air-to-air missile) and more. According to the publication of mid-day.

The indictment includes 203 witnesses, including two women with whom Kurolkar had an affair. One of them worked for a supplier of the DRDO office headed by Kurolkar. "The prosecutors said that their statement was recorded to prove that he was having an affair with several women and hence he also fell into the honey trap and the exchange of nude photos sent by the Pakistani spy.

He shared highly sensitive information despite knowing the fact that it could jeopardize India's sovereignty and security," according to the publication.
