NGOs—Non-Government Organizations—were founded on a simple, noble idea: governments cannot and should not do everything. Citizens want their governments to secure borders, manage national priorities, and keep order, but not to intrude into every aspect of daily life.

That is where NGOs step in—feeding the poor, supporting the elderly, and helping those who fall through society’s cracks.

But what was once a noble creation has turned into a Frankenstein. Many NGOs have shifted from service to self-preservation, from charity to PR machines, exploiting both the system and the very people they claim to serve.
