The Israeli Supreme Court today rejected the principles undergirding the Magna Carta, the Western democratic values birthed from the Enlightenment, not to mention Judeo-Christian values, Aristotle, Cicero, Locke, Montesquieu, and scores of other ancient and more modern historical events and philosophers -- as well as more modern thinkers and scholars -- in sealing its fate as a tawdry, thuggish, despotic polit bureau populated by single-minded, self-aggrandizing narcissistic lawyers.  

They have utter contempt for the people as sovereign and the consent of the people, use Stalinist-investigative tactics against the elected Prime Minister, his wife, and staff in hopes of fomenting a coup, and are no better than the fascists who run Third World autocracies -- except they wear black robes and pretend to be justices.  

They are backed by a mob of Marxist-Islamist riotous protestors and a radical media that cheerleads for democracy's demise (and they do this despite the fact that their own freedom is at stake).  What an embarrassment not just in Israel but throughout the world.
