WATCH: AMERICAN JIHAD: We (Muslims) are the American People!"

During an April 5, 2025, march in Washington D.C. titled "Let Gaza Live!" activist Raja Abdulhaq stated, "The American empire is evil in its every essence of being." Osama Abuirshaid, Executive Director of American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), declared, "We will not be intimidated […] we represent the American people!"

The march, organized by the People's Forum—reportedly linked to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)—protested the crackdown on activists such as Mahmoud Khalil by American immigration authorities and expressed solidarity with Gaza.

Other speakers at the rally included activist Linda Sarsour, Executive Director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Nihad Awad, and Islamic scholar Omar Suliman.

Abdulhaq delivered a Friday sermon in December 2024 at the MAS Youth Center in which he said that Muslims in America cannot be loyal to an "empire" that is destroying the world. He also delivered a Friday sermon at the Columbia University encampment in April 2024.
