Israel Signs Agreement With Albania
Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabi Ashkenazi signed today a treaty of exemption from double taxation between Israel and Albania, alongside the latter's Ambassador to Israel. This agreement will facilitate mutual investments and financial Israeli activity in Albania. As of today, there are about 60 Israelis companies that operate in Albania, and the annual trade volume between the countries stand at about 110 million dollars. "The agreement signed today", said Ashkenazi, "strengthens Israel's financial ties with Albania and the Balkan countries and enables Israeli companies to promote financial partnerships and additional investments in many fields, such as energy, industry and tourism. We will continue to strengthen our ties with many more countries and promote the Israeli economy".
