The American president says the dictator's death in a joint U.S.-Israeli airstrike is a historic chance for Iranians to reclaim their country
President Donald Trump confirmed the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in a statement on Saturday night, calling the Islamist dictator “one of the most evil people in History.” The Iranian regime and Jerusalem also announced his demise.
Khamenei, 86, was killed in a joint U.S.-Israeli airstrike on his compound in Tehran on Saturday morning local time.
“This is not only Justice for the people of Iran, but for all Great Americans, and those people from many Countries throughout the world, that have been killed or mutilated by Khamenei and his gang of bloodthirsty THUGS,” the president wrote on his Truth Social platform.
