Defense Minister Israel Katz is currently holding a situation assessment with Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, Mossad Director Dedi Barnea, Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Maj. Gen. (res.) Amir Baram, Head of the Military Intelligence, Maj. Gen. Oded Besiuk, Head of the Intelligence Directorate, Maj. Gen. Shlomi Binder, Head of the Joint Special Operations Command, Maj. Gen. Eyal Harel, Commander of the Home Front Command, Maj. Gen. Rafi Milo, and other senior officials.

The Defense Minister was updated that most of the top leadership of the Revolutionary Guards Air Force was eliminated while meeting in an underground headquarters.
