Israeli-Arab Yoseph Haddad tweeted last night about Turks attacking the Israeli embassy in Ankara, Turkey.
"What happened in front of the Israeli consulate in Turkey, violent Hamas supporters shooting off fireworks and rioting...and let's not forget the signs on the shops with the inscription "Jews are not allowed" and stepping on the Israeli flag in the streets.
And of course their president's statement "Hamas is not a terrorist organization"
Just remember all this!
Because on the day we win and tourism will also return, any Israeli who flies to Turkey, in my eyes, does not have an iota of national honor!!
And no.. it will not affect Turkey's economy, but it will convey a message to the countries in the region that what we once were, we are no longer?? this time we have national honor??"
NEWSRAEL: Israel has many more economic sanctions it can put on Turkey if it wishes. The reason Turkey had tried to "repair" ties with Israel was becuase of the planned "economic train" from India through the Gulf and Israel to Europe. Turkey hoped that it would go from Israel to Turkey, but as things stand, that probably will not happen after Erdogan's radical stance.
