Ali Khomeini, the grandson of Islamic Republic founder Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, declared that Iran regards all Americans as enemies and wishes death upon both Republicans and Democrats.

Speaking at a July 10 memorial ceremony for Iran’s political leadership, Khomeini dismissed suggestions that Tehran should alter its military strategy to influence the US midterm elections.

“Some people ask us to continue fighting and firing missiles so that Trump loses the elections in November,” he said. “If he loses, who will replace him? We say death to both.”
