The hacker group "Black Reward" provided the opposition website "Iran International" with an audio leak of the meeting of the deputy leader of the Basij organization, Qassem Qureshi, with a group of journalists close to the Basij, in which it was stated that Iran had asked Qatar for a list of the names of all Iranian fans in the World Cup, and he expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation of the Qataris.
Qureshi said in an interview with the Basij journalist that Qatar promised to prevent the participation of people designated by the Iranian regime, including journalists from the "Iran International" website, in the World Cup.
The Iranian official said that Iranian opposition groups abroad "invested" in the World Cup and "bought 5,300 tickets".
According to the deputy commander of the Basij, "Iran asked Qatar not to issue visas to people whose presence the Islamic Republic considers harmful, and that Qatar said: Give us the names, and we will do what is required."
