Pilot Danny Shapira, graduate of the first pilot course in the Air Force, the Israeli has passed away.

Shapira was among the first to wear Israeli flying wings, and recorded in his history a series of achievements in the air.

Shapira was the first Western pilot to fly a MiG-21, first Israeli pilot to exceed Mach 2 speed, and Israeli pilot to fly the largest number of different aircraft.
