Trump issued a scathing tweet tonight against Tucker Carlson, who opposed American involvement in a war against Iran.

NEWSRAEL: There has been a LOT of talk about the two "sections" inside the current Trump administration - the isolationists - and the Hawks. Israel is not asking, as it never did, for the USA to fight for us!

Trump also explains that preventing Iran from getting nuclear weapons is part of the isolationist approach.

Trump left the G7 summit early to hold consultations at the White House about the war. There are reports of heightened alert at all American bases in the Middle East and more refueling planes making their way to the region.
