A Hezbollah outpost in central Syria was said to have been attacked by "professionals" who killed at least 3 terrorists and wounded 4 and disappeared in the darkness of the night
Seven members of the Lebanese Hezbollah militia were killed and wounded, following an attack launched by unknown assailants who attacked their military outpost, at dawn on Monday, in the southern countryside of Homs province.
A local source said that unknown persons driving a black van attacked a Hezbollah military outpost on the outskirts of the town that remained, using guns equipped with silencers.
The source explained that unknown persons attacked the point located on the outskirts of the town on the road connecting with the town of Diba, which led to the killing of three Hezbollah fighters and the wounding of four others.
The source confirmed that Hezbollah called all its people in the area and transferred the dead and wounded to one of the medical centers near the "Al-Daba'a" area, and at the same time closed all the roads leading to the town of "Shanshaar" with dozens of fighters and patrol forces.
The source explained that Hezbollah sent military reinforcements to the site that was attacked, and will reinforce the military point with additional armored personnel carriers, in addition to placing a number of "temporary" checkpoints around the villages of Tel al-Sheikh, Diba and Shamsin.
The source reported that after the attack, the Hezbollah militia began installing hidden observation points, equipping them with thermal cameras and surveillance means, and linking them to the central operations room in the western countryside of Homs province.
