Children's rights: Syria is the worst country in the world
Syria ranks among the worst countries in the world in terms of violating children's rights, according to the UN report on children in areas of armed conflict, published by the Syrian Network for Human Rights.

The UN report ranked Syria as the worst country in the world in terms of recruiting and using children as fighters, while the Assad regime and its allies top the list of violations related to killing and destruction.
The report noted that it was able to document 2,271 cases of serious violations against children in Syria, including killing, mutilation, recruitment, detention, deprivation of liberty and denial of humanitarian access.
