The Biden White House supports open-door immigration at any cost to Americans, including increased threats to national security and a further economic downturn. While Americans remained constrained and economically strapped due to COVID lockdowns, the Southern border was a free-for-all for whoever wanted to enter. “White House Refuses to Apologize After Reports Say Border Patrol Agents Cleared of ‘Whipping’ Migrants,” by Charlie Spiering, Breitbart, April 18, 2022:
The White House declined to comment Monday on the results of a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) investigation that reportedly found no border patrol agents were guilty of whipping migrants crossing the Southern border in September 2021.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki refused to address reports showing the agents involved with the accusations were cleared of criminal wrongdoing, despite accusations from President Joe Biden and other administration officials that they were guilty of whipping or “strapping” the migrants.

The allegations against the agents occurred on September 19, 2021, near a makeshift outdoor encampment holding roughly 15,000 mostly Haitian migrants at the time. Video and photographs taken by freelance journalist Paul Ratje were widely circulated and sparked initial claims that agents were “whipping” migrants.
Further examination led many to concede the images showed Border Patrol agents using long reins to control the horses. The photographer who captured the incident also denied witnessing the agents’ using whips.
Despite the results of the investigation, Psaki repeatedly insisted that the process was not concluded.
“There is a process and an investigation,” she told reporters during the daily briefing on Monday and added, “I’m sure we’ll have a comment on it after that.”
DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas famously said the investigation would take only “days,” not weeks.
