Kibbutz Be’eri, Hatzerim acquire 25% stake in solar firm
This is their first major investment since the October 7 attack
Kibbutz Be’eri lost one-tenth of its residents in the October 7 attack.
Kibbutz Be’eri, the Gaza-border community devastated in the Hamas massacre two years ago, is preparing its first major investment since the tragedy, committing to a renewable energy project valued at about NIS 115 million ($35 million).
The kibbutz has partnered with Kibbutz Hatzerim—where Be’eri’s displaced residents have lived since the attack—and an infrastructure fund operated by Giza Singer Even, a financial advisory and investment firm.
