Former U.S. President Donald Trump came out strongly on Wednesday in defense of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, denouncing his ongoing corruption trial as a “Witch Hunt” and calling for it to be canceled or for Netanyahu to be granted a pardon without delay.

Posting on Truth Social, Trump expressed outrage that Netanyahu is still being dragged to court, especially in light of Israel’s recent historic military success. “I was shocked to hear that Bibi, fresh off one of Israel’s Greatest Moments in History, is still being forced into court,” Trump wrote.

Highlighting their joint efforts against Iran, Trump praised Netanyahu as a “WARRIOR” and said the two had achieved what few thought possible: “a complete elimination of potentially one of the biggest and most powerful Nuclear Weapons anywhere in the World.”
