Question of the Day: Should President Trump deploy the National Guard to Chicago?

Democrat-run Chicago has been out of control for years - what should the Trump administration do?

For: Trump is right to act, since Democrat leaders have failed to stop the violence, and deploying the Guard shows he is willing to put American lives and safety above politics.

Against: Critics argue Trump risks overstepping his authority by turning the Guard into a “national police force,” which could backfire legally and politically.
