Hamas is once again being accused of turning a civilian medical site into a tool of repression — this time against Palestinians preparing to protest its rule in Gaza.
A new report claims that Hamas has been using Gaza’s oldest hospital, Al-Ahli Arab Hospital, as a location for interrogations, intimidation and threats against Palestinians suspected of supporting protests against the terror organization.
According to the report, Hamas internal security operatives have been summoning or detaining Palestinians connected to the planned “Day of Rage” demonstrations, warning them not to take part in anti-Hamas activity.
The allegation fits a long-standing pattern: Hamas uses hospitals, schools, mosques and humanitarian spaces not only to shield its terror infrastructure from Israel, but also to control Gaza’s own population.
