Over the past 40 days, the Nahal Brigade and Golani Brigade combat team forces, in cooperation with Yahalom fighters and under the command of the Gaza Division (143), have been operating in a concentrated effort in the East Rafah area.
Their mission: Destroying the underground hideouts remaining in the area and bringing about the defeat of the terrorists residing in them.
Over the past week, more than 40 terrorists were eliminated in the area of the route.
In addition, dozens of above-ground and underground terrorist bases and infrastructures were destroyed in the area.
