Last week, the "Desert Falcon" air exercise took place, which is a joint training of the Israeli Air Force together with AFCENT, the Central Command of the American Air Force.
The exercise, which took place on a fact-based basis, was attended by 122nd Squadron, 119th Squadron, the Israeli 115th Squadron and the American FS 55TH Squadron, which operates F16 aircraft.
As part of the exercise, the Israeli air crews flew "shoulder to shoulder" with the American crews and together practiced coping against air threats and attacking targets while studying, sharing and mutually fertilizing.
The training was an important milestone in strengthening the strategic-international cooperation between Israel and the US Air Force and contributed to the readiness of the forces.
