Large forces of the IDF have now raided the town of Beta south of Nablus and are raiding a mosque, as part of the search for the terrorist who carried out the attack in Hawara.
The Chief of Staff, Major General Herzi Halevi, arrived a short time ago at the point of the attack in Hawara, together with the division commander and the commander of the Samaria Brigade, and there was a preliminary investigation into the attack. Also, the commanders conducted a situation assessment, in which the Chief of Staff was presented with the deployment of forces and blockades in the area and the intelligence efforts to capture the terrorist.
The Chief of Staff said that this was a serious attack, and that what led to its realization will be investigated. The IDF and the security forces are now working in the field to pursue the terrorist, protect the deputies and prevent terrorism.
